I recently got this lovely composition fox but after a lot of research, I have not found any info on what brand he is. I even put the names that were included in the listing title in the search bar in hopes of finding out who made him. He distantly reminds me of a Marolin but not quite. The seller was confident that he was from the 1920's or 30's era but I am not so sure. Other than the cracks in the paint job from age, he's in fantastic shape for being so old. Does anyone have any info on his maker? I'm super curious about this guy.

Here he is in relation with my other composition foxes.

So it is possible that it is a old Erzgebirge Massefigur, there are any producer i heard, one that i know is Lahl.

I recently bought this husky type dog, but I have no idea about the brand?
No mark, no stamp, nothing on this dog to know any clue or such.

Material same as the big brands, sturdy plastic. Size is somewhat smaller than a Schleich husky.

Actually, this is local China brand. Very small scale, about half of Schleich and not expensive.

I bought them one year ago, but they are not sold well in China because the scale problem.

A fellow collector from Poland, Dorota (also a member of this forum, nick: Dorotheah) has found very interesting horse models from the times of her childhood. I wanted to help with identification but I really think I see them for the first time. She let me share the photos here on this forum.
Does anyone know what brand are these horses? We think they may be originally designed in Poland but perhaps they are re-casts of other brands from a different country? They are at least 30 years old. The size is similar to Britains horses.

The photo comes from Dorota's blog where you can also see more photos of these models: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I too think they are quite lovely Smile and I haven't seen them anywhere else. So, now I think they are very probably designed in Poland.
Those times Polish producers made many copies of Britains, Veb Plaho and Marolin animals, so I thought maybe they didn't design any original animals at all, but it seems they did Very Happy Ha, now I wish I could find these horses to my collection also Very Happy

Wow! I just typed in Ricolino Animales on Google, and I got photos of the puffin!
Also, one of Julies mystery manatees is a Ricolino! Ha! Now we know both! Very Happy

That is the Kaiyodo Black rhino released in 1989, resin model kit.
It was sculpted by Shinobu Matsumura, he also made the African elephant which was recently re-released.

It is 1:12 scale (28 cm long).
