Btw : 51546 Trendy horse, and 52010 Trendy riding girl were already retired last year, I am 99% sure

We all love unusual species but often they have a short commercial life . Poor ocelot, I am glad I have it already once it risks to turn into a rare collectible. It is also somewhat surprising to see the Arctic fox and Siamese among the retired figures, I suspect they are not such bad sellers. I have to think about acquiring the leatherback turtle, I don't have a single one yet and I like the Papo version. Thanks a lot for your help checking it.

No problem. As long as the pdf catalogue stays readable (included text) I can do it every year for Safari Ltd, Papo & CollectA. I only have to double check manually and there is always a small chance that I list a model which won't be discontinued. (CollectA had the problem in the last years that the included text for some models was not correct)

if they retire the oclelot I hope they replace it with another small wild Central/South American cat...

Jaguarundi maybe? Probably is the only other "not too obscure" South American small cat... tough of course many collectors would prefair more obscure species

isnt there another spotted cat called a "margay"? or is that the same as the ocelot?
A jaguarundi would be cool!

Some figurines in this list really confuse me Especially the ocelot. Very strange!

I totally agree, Roger! I held this figurine many times in my local toy store, but I always end up with so many mammals and/or birds that I have to put it back on the shelf

I just got the catalogue 2019, and there are A LOT more whuch are not shown ( over 40 , hust in the wild animals section !!!).
Is it just because they aren't shown in the catalogue, or are there really that many being retired , I wonder ?
