The two variations of the Kaiyodo least weasel figure. Both are tiny and unspeakably cute.

They are indeed very cute. I'm very pleased to watch that turnaround because I never noticed how good are these two models.

I have the two other Kaiyodo least weasels, the CQM ones, maybe you can add them to your tribe. I made a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Wink

Could I use one of your pic to complete the TAW Least weasel page ?

Yes, the stock photos really don't do these little guys justice. The detail they manage to get on such small figures is really impressive.

I actually have the summer coat least weasel with its foot up, but am still on the lookout for the winter one. Not sure why it's so hard to find by comparison.

And of course, part of the reason I post these is as a resource for TAW, so all my turnarounds are free to use for that purpose.

I have the Capsule Q winter figure with its foot up (the white one in Kiki's walkaround). it was thrown in for free in a batch because it didn't have the rock. Luckily, the peg under the foot was easy to cut off, and it stands just fine. Someday I might find a complete figure, but it serves my needs for now.

I'll be showing my miscellaneous carnivores (carnivores other than dogs, cats, bears) next month in my Synoptic Collection review. So, you'll get to see my mustelids.

Great, I look forward to it! I need to take a picture of all of my mustelids, but I'm holding out until some new ones come in the mail. My personal favorites are obviously martens, followed by pretty much any of the Mustela genus, but I probably have more otters than anything, just because they're so much easier to find.

I was surprised that I have/will be getting soon 6 species of Mustela (I already have the 2020 Safari long-tailed weasel):
1. Kaiyodo least weasel
2. Mojo ermine
3. Kaiyodo domestic ferret
4. Safari long-tailed weasel
5. Kaiyodo Japanese weasel
6. Yowie black-footed ferret

I have four species of otter, with a fifth on reserve.

I see we have another weasel fan here. Wink
No, not me, I am just a regular enthusiast of all animals.
Thanks for this walk around, I like the figures portraied and I hope to see one of these species made by a regular brand. That's a quite common species, I don't understand why it is so rare in toy shape.
I believe you mean Mojö Fun instead of Safari when referring to the stoat/ermine. At least, I don't remember seeing them from Safari. scratch
It is impressive how many you have, I am surprised I have a marten that you still miss, the Bullyland one. It is a pity I don't have another or I'd send it to you.

Yes, I think it's a shame that they aren't more commonly featured. Especially since they are such common and such fascinating animals. Tiny and cute, yet incredible ferocious and able to take down prey many times their size. Their relatives, long-tailed weasels, are even nicknamed the psychopaths of the animal kingdom.

Oh jeez, you're right. I don't know why I'm always mixing up those two companies.

Thanks, it feels like such a small collection to me, but so many of them have been hard to find. The Bullyland marten is a grail figure for me for sure, and I've searched for it high and low, but have had no luck yet. Just finding the Bullyland wolverine took forever.

Bullyland retired figures are not easy to find. I have both marten and wolverine thanks to Susanne, the collector most dedicated to Bullyland I know.
I see you are a little restrained with badgers once there are a lot around. But I am surprised that you miss the Mojö wolverine, f.i., a great figure.

Yeah, I don't get into badgers as much, though I don't really know why. They just don't grab me the same way as other mustelids, I guess. I keep meaning to get the Mojo wolverine, I've just never gotten around to it.

That's an impressive list VexVamp :-). Keep in mind mine is a synoptic collection so for now, just one of each. Someday I might complete some of these summer/winter combinations but for now I just need the species represented :-)

Also, I have the Safari wolverine. At first I thought I wanted the Mojo one. When it wasn't available I went with the Safari one and I am glad I did! The head and body are perfect!

Thanks, it's taken a lot of work just to find many of them. My collection is limited to a small number of species, so I can afford to go crazy with the color variations. Very Happy

Do you mean a link to info about the figures? Or a link to figures like that for sale? If you mean info, I don't have turnarounds for them yet, but the badger has a page here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] while the marten doesn't yet. I'll try and get a turnaround for it up soon. If you are looking to purchase them, this seller has the marten [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and while I haven't seen the badger listed individually, there is one in this lot of animal figures [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] . Hope that helps!
