Kaiyodo - 2020

I didn't realize Wild Rush is a TV series, interesting to know. Do I understand it right that it is a cartoon series that feature the Kaiyodo Wild Rush cartoon characters?

When I google for "Wild Rush" I only get a lot of cigars

The TV animation "Kemono Friends" premiered on January 10, 2017, with 12 episodes. Due to the popularity of animation, Kaiyodo has produced animation peripherals Wild Rush series. A set of animals and a set of cartoon characters are compatible with each other.

Thank you, Dirk. It's very interesting what the background behind these figures is. Now I also understand why Kaiyodo made the doll/anime figures, it didn't make sense to me before. But perhaps a bit sad that Kaiyodo nowadays needs a TV animation as an excuse to make animal figures.

There is a reissue of last year's dino skeleton set with the names Kaiyodo and F-toys Confect. on the flyers.

I asked both of my sources about this. Wondering what if anything it might mean for future releases.

It’s just a different sales method, the figures are still the original figures. Kaiyodo is gacha, F-toys is Candy Toy.

Thanks, Dirk. Figured that was the case but wondered it it meant there were any implications for future/new sets.
