Lappet-faced Vulture

Finally I finished him - he's been sitting around unpainted for a while with no legs. But I managed to make some feet for him and painted him yesterday. I did try Phil's technique with the feet, but it didn't work for me. So I made some out of Super Sculpey clay, baked them in the oven and it worked out quite well. He looks better in real life

The feet are excellent, I never saw in real life your other birds but I think you imrpve a lot your skills on feet making.

Thank you Luc I'm afraid I won't be able to take a picture of all my models as most of them are with other collectors now. I still have all the birds though

Another wonderful sculpture Harriet, what a great choice of species as well. If you are looking for species to sculpt a king vulture would be a great choice, they are by far the most colorful of the New World vulture species.

Harriet, it is a fabulous figuere, - I just don`t know how you can make so much detail and then still it looks...hmm..how to say it ..so right ! And so easy, even if it is not !

Many of the brands would be really much better off with you as a designer

Now, you say you still have the birds, - please, please, could we see a picture of those all together, - I remember a tucan, pelican ....
