Probably a copper pheasant; common and familiar in Japan.

These are nice, but none of them are species I need. I might swap out my Kaiyodo copper pheasant for this one, but probably not (the NTC figure would have to be larger, which I doubt it is...)

Very beautiful! It could be called Winter series!
I think it is a Japanese red fox in Winter coat, a Japanese hare in Winter coat and even the racoon dog seems to be in Winter coat. Do I read humpback whale on Japanese hare's base? I always see strange things at these hours. Fox goes directly to my wish list.

Lovely figures, I do love the Japanese style!

They look great, even though the species are very unoriginal for a Japanese company. It looks like they can stand up without their base, which is great. I find it quite odd that Ikimon/Kitan often shows off their figures without base, as if they know the bases aren't very attractive. I wonder whether the final products will have pegs on their feet to attach them to the base.

These may or may not be on bases. The base shown may be only to give an idea of its size. That there are painted free-standing figures makes me think these may not have bases. Who knows, these could even be part of the Nature of Japan series (https://toyanimal.info/wiki/Kitan_Club#Nature_of_Japan) (that hasn't been released in a few years now, and they do not have bases).

IF they end up having bases, yes there will probably be another level between the animal and the base, with pegs connecting them.

That's true. It looks like none of them needs a base to stand up (unlike many other Kitans), so perhaps this series is without bases.

Do you have a comparison pic with the Kitan club brown bear?

These three are roughly to scale, the hare is a bit too large.
