Here are new papo 2020 arrivals in my collection!
first of all:
Common pheasant, bird lover obliges it ...  
Medium sized figurine, very well painted and detailed;  
fairly discreet platform! I love her so much.

You're telling you love her but take care once it is a boy. I don't want you having unexpected surprises. I also like the model and it is great to see it in comparison with other beautiful friends. I have the Bullyland, enough for me but it does not mean that someday the Papo model will not find a way to my collection.

Here is the new Cormorant!
 
Detailed fine metallic reflections and pride,  
Personally I like him he goes well with his compatriots.    
I am posting a comparison image with Kaiyodo and Newray,  

A little question that bugs me, Papo has changed Sculptor for his birds, I find them a little smaller and there is another logo on them, too small for my eyes; Illegible?        
The seagull must be from the same person also too small a scale.  
I would tell you that there is a definite advantage to re-store them in an OMG window, what do you say there

These sea birds are surely from a different sculptor as you pointed. The same as the albatross. These are made in P.R.C. (China) while for instance, the marabou and a few other large birds are made in Portugal, likely Maia & Borges designs. I really don't have most of Papo birds to study it better but I am convinced things are not far from this.

This cormorant went direct to my wishlist when announced, but I hope that the heavily deformed bill don't come from mould directly and is just an individual issue due to bending during transport...

I love both of these models and species! Pheasants are a dime a dozen where I live, but its always special when one runs along the road and ducks back into the grass. And cormorants and such a wonderfully odd looking bird they have always fascinated me. Congrats on both!

the next one is the "average" golden jackal" but he blamed me because I only had the Noah-palls as a representative of this species of rather small size.

Don't worry, it's just an individual issue, mine has a perfectly straight bill.
