glue for repairs

Hello all,
I read somewhere what the best glue is for repairing old Britains plastic zoo animals...but can't find it! Could somebody advise me please as I have 3 legged antelope, and a one antlered moose, but do have the bits!! I seem to remember there was a specific sort of glue and one to avoid?

It's Loctite All Plastics; many other glues don't work with polythene (Britains animals before 1968).
