Well since he was a duplicate I did not take his picture, but here is my original one!

So if anyone needs a Holstein bull, I do have an extra. :)

Fabulous pictures, Kristie cheers

And how wonderful you got those impressive guys, brandnew and at such a good price even !!!!

Especially the hereford is a gem, and your picture really does him credit Very Happy sunny

The hereford, - it is fun to see how nice and light and clean he looks.
My herefords are much more yellow. I got them (Ecxept the young bull) brand new when they were still in production, so I suppose they were made that way.

Or do they turn yellow in light ? They were on my showshelf for a long time.
Does anyone know ?

CONGRATULATIONS agin for this great addition cheers

Thank you Susanne, Harriet, Sylvia, and Ken! :)

Susanne, I'm not sure about the yellowing on your bull. I know with Breyer Horses if they are exposed to smoke they will turn yellowish. Sunlight is supposed to help whiten them back up. I have a Schleich Clydesdale mare that I got second hand that has that yellowish tint as well.

But it sounds like your Hereford is made that way. Unless you and Harriet both smoke a pack of cigarettes a day. geek

Really great bulls Kristie, i love those big bulls! Very Happy
Great pictures to! :)

I am surprised that you call the brown and white bull a Hereford Susanne...
But he could go for one i guess...
He is called as a bull from the "Fleckvieh" by Schleich, which means cattle with spots or markings, which is is a German breed.
He could go for a "Simmenthaler" to, or a Dutch "Overijssels roodbont"(red checkered) bull...
Holstein is not Dutch by the way, Friesian is Dutch and German.
The original breed is Friesian, but crossed in, and made even better in the north of Germany(Holstein), and later in the USA, and then came back to Europe, so the breed as we know it today is the "Friesian-Holstein" , with its origins in the Netherlands.

I realized that my two Holsteins ARE different! Look at the white on their faces!

I also took better pictures of Flekk, Rodeo, and Longhorn because the clouds were brilliant!

Very Happy

Lovely pictures, Kristie I love you

Funny how the slight difference in paint on the Holsteins make one of them look older than the other Very Happy

As I have more than 20 local shops selling Schleich I can tell you that in this kind of patterns you will find many different figures! Anyway is always interesting to find that our figures are not perfect copies from each other!
But again wonderful pictures Kristie! :)
All figures looks much more beautiful under your camera, it's true! cheers

I saw couple of them in a store yesterday, brand new and yellowish, so I guess they were made like that indeed Very Happy
