Antelope FEVER! Sharing OLD photos of my collection from years ago....

I was clearing out lots of files on my computer and I came across a folder containing photos of my antelope collection from 2012/2013 - almost 10 years ago!  The antelopes in my collection have tripled since then but I am sharing these pictures with you taken at that time anyway before I delete my photos together.

I remember being really excited at laying out my antelope collection and thinking how many different brands I have - little did we know that there would be so many more to come over the years...

Having a nostalgic moment and sharing these old photos with you before I delete them forever....

To be fair at that time I had many duplicates but many have disappeared as I have traded or sold them on.  By tripling I meant the number of different species made since these photos were taken have increased dramatically when you also include CollectA's new additions and many of the Japanese brands.  When I took these photos I thought how wonderful to have so many different types but little did I know that so many other brands would include antelopes in their ranges hence the increase! Before anyone asks, I will never part with my Safari VW Gemsboksa...never! Moo haa haa LOL

Wonderful photos! Its great to see some variants. I didn't realize the old Schleich kudu had 2 very different colors.

These are old photos and yes there were variants....some were made in China and some Germany. Topics on this exist here on different plastics and types. The Yak for instance had two different distinct finishes between the Chinese and German versions.

In later years the Kudu painting was refined and improved - these were the German versions.

Thank you! I know about different variations depending on the production site, I just wasnt aware of the kudu havijg 2 different versions. I have the older yellower model. Valuable photos even if they are old!

Many replicas have improved models in the market. However, among all the replicas, no one produce the Topi/Sassaby (seeming... ceased to produce since 2007 by Schieich). Can any one tell me which company is producing replica of this species?
