W.A.I FIGURES WILDLIFE ARTISTS INC. COMPLETE COLLECTION

Does anyone know more about this series?
Does anyone have images of more figures not pictured in Animal Toy Info?
Is the list on the website complete?

I don't know anything about them but that must be the cutest pose for a tiger, ever

Unfortunately we don't know too much about these series. What you can see on Toy Animal Wiki is just the result from gathering all models marked W.A.I. present in our collections. We didn't even know for a long time what W.A.I. meant. Only later someone found it stands for Wildlife Artists Inc.
I believe these figures listed without pictures result from information we find online on Ebay or discussion boards.
Due to the lack of documentation, it is how TAW works, sometimes we start just from a single figure with a unknown marking and anytime a piece of the puzzle is found, we try to sort things accordingly.

Hopefully someone collector can add images of some of the figures that do not appear...Like the hyena, tapir or the red panda.
These figures looks like the K&Ms XL models (red wolves, fennec...

I have 2 of the models-they are marketed as leopard cubs but the markings are those of jaguars.

I like the look of these models, such charming faces on all of them. Hopefully more can be found, I'd also love to see the hyena . . .

Ricardo, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] found some more figures which are now on TAW and she found a few patterns and we are redesigning the W.A.I. page according to the way these figures are marked.
