Wow! A bulldog! It is amazing, Mojo have done an absolutely beautiful job on this model! I was just so happy when I saw they had released a dog, and such a beautiful one- wow! The wrinkles are so accurate and the proportions are so good, and the way they have done the fur texture to look short and almost bristly like the real dog- I really love the face and can't wait to see this one in real life, definitely has to be one of the best bulldogs on the market, I am really excited to see comparisons with other bulldogs! And I love the way there is darker paint around the muzzle and paws, it adds that realistic touch that the older Schleich models have! I would say this is Mojo's best dog so far, I am really loving this golden age of dog models!

I appreciate Mojö's consideration for our forum. Regardless of the way Mojö Fun assumes, STS is a part of their history and Mojö Fun is a part of STS-Forum's history. I want also to thank you Anna for giving your time to present these releases to us.
About the figures, believe or not, at the moment I opened the topic and saw the first picture, I exclaimed: - A Lusitano!!! ... That unmistakable head profile, the attitude, the flowing mane... OK, it could be an Andalusian but it made my day when I read it is a Lusitano indeed. That cob formula is surely a successful one and I am so happy the Southlands were rescued! If there is a case where recovering a mould is not irritating, this is surely one. I believe the foal is too delicate for Mojö standards. I don't know if you can talk more about this. Sculpts are yours, moulds are from Southlands, what really happened?
About the British Bulldog, I am especially happy it is not once more a French Bulldog, this iconic breed was almost forgotten these last years.
My suggestion for Christmas day is dinosaurs, let us, wildlife collectors, suffer a little...

As for the Brumbies, yes the foal was too thin-legged I believe. But the two adult horses are saved, that makes me happy for sure!

Prehistoric animals for tomorrow, all right! Unless we get more votes for the other groups.

Please, Wildlife is giving me more job on maps than Dinos, I would prefer wildlife for tomorrow

That would be wonderful, I would love for you to tell them because it is such a beautiful bulldog and will definitely inspire me if I ever get round to sculpting a bulldog myself! A BIG thank you from me!

Yes, 'rescuing' the brumbies from being lost to animal figure history is a great thing indeed, really happy to know they'll carry on production. There aren't many of this breed out there in model form, I'd say there's far more moulds which were sculpted as something else (often mustangs) being shown as brumbies by their owners, so it's nice to have some real ones!

The Lusitano is one for my wishlish, that's for certain - I think I'll go for the bay as darker colours always seem to bring out the contours and details of the sculpt a bit more. He's got a lovely handsome head with just the right profile, and the pose shows the build of the Iberian types so well, a combination of athleticism, balance, and strength.
And I even see custom potential for this to become that Sorraia Roger wishes I'd paint - it looks a little more compact and chunky than CollectA's leggy Andalusian and Lusitano, which would work for that more ponyish but still very Iberian-type breed.

The cob is lovely, a really good matching partner for the mare, and I like how his mane is typically long but not in a big over-dramatic style, the website photos for cob stallions often photograph them playing or leaping about in the field with manes flying, so there's a general idea that they're these wild energetic things with anti-gravity hair, when in fact they're as tame and controlled and normal as any other stallion. One of the piebald cobs I know does a beautiful balanced rear with his front feet dangling, just like this - to reach pears a bit higher up the tree

I’m excited to see what comes next, and happy for everyone that the Brumbies have been rescued! What a nice thing of mojo to do, and to allow you to give us information! Very nice and gives me a lot of hope.

Anna, George explained it very well and I agree with him. Watching a Lusitano is like seeing a swan among ducks. I love ducks but swans are so noble, graceful and powerful at the same time.
Together with the points George mentioned, the way they move is admirable and it is hard to get in a figure. So, I also think your choice for pose is very adjusted to the breed. For example, Schleich used in 2013 a similar pose for the Shire stallion, the result is pleasant but it defintely works better for a Lusitano.
For tomorrow's presentations, since it is more convenient for Kiki, you can change my choice for wildlife too and prehistoric for the last day.

Did they saved only the Brumbies, or all the Southlands figures?

I'm not a horse fan, but the rearing Cob is nice. Next prehistoric, please. ^^
