Yes, Susanne, and I noticed that the two bidders who staged the "death match" over that beagle are now busily bidding up the new beagle auction. Very good news for Torben, I believe.....

Did nobody noticed that this one was not a real one, but a re-painted one of the normal coloured older beagle???
You can easily see it in the colouration, which is much to bright and to new.
When you want to make money, see that you buy lots of the older beagle(because of the year and other markings under it), and make some nice re-paints, it seems to be good business...

I think that was not a Joke.
I think the same when i saw it at first.
But when you look at Torbens beagle, there are the colours even bright.
So i think it is a real one and the seller has 886 positive feetbacks and it was the second one, wich the highest bidder bought. So you see, that he is an expert. And his positive feetback is: "Vielen Dank für alles! Gerne mal wieder!"

So i would be careful to say somethink like that.

Let us see what the next ones get for a prize.

it means "Thank you for everything! Happy again"

I think much of the problem with these special beagles is the different camera angles and lighting conditions make it very difficult to properly evaluate the authenticity of each one. Maybe we buyers should demand a "Certificate of Authenticity" from the sellers...

Well Phil, this is a good idea in these kind of matters, as the price for a little toy-animal like this goes up more and more in the last years.
you are right about the way people take their pictures, as we can see here on the forum to, which can make or break a model sometimes.

But i was not kidding Susanne, i really ment it...
I don't make corners or curves when the road must be straight...
I like to call the things by their name normally...
The one Torben is selling(i saw it by accident this evening), is less shiny in my opinion, and he doesn't have to sell odd stuff, or re-paintings or other bad stuff, i know him to good for that, and we all do by now i think.
He is a very respectfull and honourable man, and he is not out to make easy profits...

And Peter, weren't you the person who was the talk about the last time, because you sold a dark beagle, or am i mistaking maybe...
Or do you mean another dark beagle maybe?
I know about one very respected female member here, who bought a re-painted beagle...

And she became a fully refund....

I don`t say that with Torbens Beagle is something wrong. But when you look at Torbens beagle, there are the colours even bright. So I mean, that the bright is not a reason to see if it a real one.

It was the second beagle wich the highest bidder bought,
And he/she is very lucky with both of them.
So i think it is a real one and you are wrong and my first impressive was even wrong.
Until now i have never seen sold an fake on ebay.

I know Peter, i know...

I hope the buyer is happy with her beagles, that is what counts at the end...
