PostSubject: The little old forest series II   The little old forest series II EmptyWed Aug 24, 2011 11:38 pm

In the middle of March I showed a series of small, old firest animals that I had decided to collect [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The last ones have proven extremely hard to find, but suddenly I got two more cheers

Andreas was so extremely kind as to trade his little dachs Very Happy Thankyou, Andreas flower sunny
And almost at the same time, - at long last the little wolf was for sale on Ebay, - and even in perfect condition Very Happy

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

During the months I did succeed to get hold of two of the old frogs, marked Bully 1986
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

This one sort of belongs even if it is really not in the series : The "frog-leaf", but with a ladybug. This came from the marvellous E-shop Sandspielfiguren.de
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The same place I got a brandnew Roebuck cheers

And here a couple of variants I have found :

I know I have shown these before. Sorry to repeat myself Wink

Thanks for watching my eternal Bully(lands) again Very Happy flower sunny

Yes, I love him very much, - he has made good friends with the wolf.

They discuss the good, old days all the time, very fun to listen to : " do you remember when plastic was a new thing, - yes, yes, and Bullyland was called Bully ? " " I remember when little boys were always doing what their dad told them" "yes, and they did not have those silly computers, and they always ate their carrots at dinner without complaining" " and do you remember when...." Then I shut my ears Laughing Laughing

Congratulations for your additions, mainly the badger! I think he is saying: Do you see, if it was not these modern days I hardly would meet all of you! Isn't it nice to have computers to share our faces with everybody? To trade figures, send and receive gifts from wonderful friends??? Well, everything is good and bad and in most cases we can choose! Very Happy

Thankyou very much Ken flower sunny

I also think it is a great little figuere , esp as it was first made in 84.
At that time most of their animal models were in a rather "stiff" position. Very Happy
