These are neither rare nor expensive, but they are quite neat, I think Very Happy

Sometimes when I really NEED a little package with figueres, and don´t have too much money, I look for Yowies Laughing santa Rolling Eyes

I know they came with Cadbury chocolate, - were they in a plastic egg? Can any of you British tell me ?

Very cute :)

They use to be in a plastic container inside chocolate shaped like a Yowie. I remember the chocolate tasting terrible Laughing My sister and I use to buy them just for the figures and got a lot of the spider that way Laughing We did manage to get most of them, I think we were missing just 6 and 4 of the Yowies.

The chocolate may have been the same as those we call "Kinder-eggs", sort of sweet, sticky stuff pale

I don`suppose anybody has a picture of the chocolate-Yowie(s) ?

You must have had a LOT of yowies, - aren`t there many ?

flower I love you flower

Oh no, Kinder eggs are much, much nicer !

It didn't taste like Cadburys chocolate to me. We did have quite a few of the models. I think I sold most of our doubles but I'll have to look, I'm not even sure where mine are Laughing

This is the only picture I could find, that wasn't too small.

Those are the ones I remember, must have been the 1998-1999 series.

Ahh, the yowie-men Very Happy

They are really very - mmm, - strange-looking alien

Gosh! If the chocolate was worse than Kinder-eggs, it must have been BAD What a Face

So you still have your collection of Yowies? Lucky you sunny

I have got quite a collection of yowies as well. They were mostly Australian/New Zealand animals with a few others from around the world. They are quite nice and were inexpensive at the time but as many have said the chocolate was awful!!!Among the unusual animals were some Australian lizards,a takahe,a gibbon, and various species of kangaroos
