Awesome collection, I love the Papo Nile Croc.

I thought you are only the king of Schleich. But actually you are also the king of Lacoste too.

Good Collection! I like the white colour croc or Alligator

Second row from the top, second from the right. Any idea what brand that is ?

I have one around here which is a slightly darker colour.

Great collection, I used to have several species of crocodilians, way back when, and they are some of my favorite reptiles. A couple of years ago I almost got back into keeping a few when I found baby nile crocodiles and Johnston's freshwater crocodile for sale at one of my suppliers. I don't think I would have got a nile, they are too big and agressive, but Johnstons are small and have a very thin snout to feed on fish and are very non-agressive even in the wild. It has always been one of my favorites.

I also know where there are some gharial for sale here in the USA, the problem is they are not affordable, the last I heard they were 50K per hatchling.

A couple of interesting facts about crocodilians is that there are only 2 species of alligator, all of the otheres (there are 26 species total) are crocodiles. The other thing that is fascinating is they share the same distribution as the paddlefish, another family with only 2 species, both groups have one species in the the USA, and the other in China.

I love the Papo of course and the Schleich alligator but the Safaris are on my wishlist they seems great

Yes, the Safari gators are great too indeed, as you might aspect from an American company, although no guarantee of course.

Not only the gator Willy, I need the Safari crocs too

Aha, so no Schleich garial for you then, but i still need him, because i want to complete my Schleich croc-family with that one...
