Thanks Ken for posting more pictures of the crocodile! Which other brand in the market would pick a finished figure and waste more time working to please collectors opinions? Unfortunately not many others are making it. Maybe Safari?
My comments are the same of Anna, proportions and texture are correct, the pose is a regular pose for a crocodile, nothing more to add but the colouring should be according with an adulte Nile crocodile so Ana picked it correctly! :)
You cannot see here but Mojo sculpts every point of the figure, even the bottom part is very detailed.
Thanks Mojo again for hearing us! cheers

So far till now I am only seen Mojofun & Safari associate with us and allow preview by us. For schleich, Papo, Bullyland & Collecta seen very far away from us.

I like this fellow very much because he has something most animal replicas don't have: he has weight. He looks like he needs the ground to support him. He's not just set upon the ground, he is using the ground. Most animal replicas, no matter how well sculpted, don't give the impression of the true mass of the animal because they don't have the right relationship to the earth. This guy looks like you will need a crane to pick him up! cheers

Thanks for the extra pictures Ken - I think his teeth are too white, the colour could be toned down a bit.

Here, directly from the factory and according with our suggestions, the new painting of the Mojo crocodile! According with Mojo it will be called Mini Crocobert! pale I have no idea why? scratch Marketing? Idea Wink
In my opinion, it is the most realistic texture of ever in a crocodile, a natural pose and the new painting improoved this feeling even the pictures do not help too much. :)

Here a picture to see that any point of the figure is carefully sculpted! Very Happy

On my shelves now !

The crocobert is better now and the texture become more marked with that painting.

What about the eyes ?

He looks very nice, lovely sculpting details. Maybe it's just the photo, but the green looks a little bright still.

Just look at the table color on both pictures, is it the same table or not? If yes, the first photo could be over contrasted in Photoshop scratch

I just look at my Schlech croc and I can't agree with Your opinion Suspect Scheich one looks much more toyish and not natural. Texture is much worse in Schleich one and paws are just huge Shocked Mojo one is much better IMO :)

P, as you see in this topic when someone dislike something it is very well accepted and the brand is making some changes according with our comments! I can warrant you that the Schleich figure was not considered while the brand was developing sculpting and painting. But surely it will make the same role in the market as the Schleich figure once it is almost the same size and more or less of the same price than the Schleich and much cheaper than the Papo.
What do you consider a wrong colour in a Nile crocodile that have many subspecies and many of them with different colours? By the way, according with Schleich, their crocodile is not even a Nile crocodile and everybody knows it is not a good figure.
But, if you see the pictures here posted you will see that the Mojo is much more detailed and with more correct proportions than the Schleich figure!
I agree that Papo's is more detailed in the head but the ventral part is much better done in Mojo's even the pose is not as dramatic as in Papo's. But I also love the Papo! Laughing

In general a very nice crocodile, or Crocobert if you like... Laughing
But for me nothing very special, although the new painting makes it a lot better...
And i wonder why every manufacturer never tells which species of croc it is... Rolling Eyes Shocked question

Ah, Willy it happens with lots of figures! I don't know which species is my WS Safari crocodile! Remember the hedgehogs, beavers, etc.
But some brands are identifying their crocodiles, remember Safari with the saltwathe croc and Papo also says that it is a Nile crocodile! :)

The Schleich croc is too cute whereas the Mojo is realistic and doesn't have a short body, fat short legs and the teeth don't look like round pieces of rubber.
