CollectA 2012 Photos: Striped Hyena

This is the photo of the Striped Hyena Prototype, again final finish will be different in the plastic version. This model has since been amended and the torso slightly lengthened more than can be seen in this photo. This original model looked a little too compact and has since been increased in length making it look much better. The new photos wont be ready for a while.

I love him, but it is good that he will be a bit longer, vene if the photo isn`t easy to judge from.

No matter what he looks like, I MUST have the striped hyena.

I can't wait to see the improved version :)

The front legs are closer than the back legs what makes the figure looks even more compact. But, is not easy to see from this picture and I'm happy the figure will not be as compact as it looks here! Lucky CollectA having your help because many CollectA mammals are very compact, see for example the CollectA fox! :)
I'm really happy seeing a striped hyena in the market and I'm sure I'll get it for my collection, I like the texture even it is only a prototype.

The model seems to look great, and like Rogerio said, it is great to have this species on the market!
But again, this foto was not the best choice to see if the model is really good, so we have to wait for that i guess...
It looks a little bit chubby indeed on this picture.

OMG, a striped hyena, this made my day, I have been waiting for this species forever! CollectA is going to break my bank account next year!!!

I currently own no Hyena's, but of all the Hyena figures I have seen by other manufactures, this one looks to be the best. I am pleased to hear that the body has been lengthened, as it does seem a little tense and up-tight in the prototype. If the final product looks a lot more relaxed and confident, I will certainly consider purchasing this figure,
