Hi Luke!
They are the Golden Snub-Nose Monkees(Rhinopithecus roxellana), and a species from a genera of monkees from East-Asia, mainly Vietnam and the South of China in different species.
All of the species are quit rare, and not often kept in zoo's, and some of the species are discovered just shortly ago.
I guess, you google the Latin name, and you will find information about them. Very Happy

By the way, lovely calendar pics again, i often wonder how you make them... Shocked

I wish you much fun with it anyway and hope you enjoy it :) :

And still some pictures, above all the eyes were very important to me to repaint again, why see picture comparison:

Thank you Willy for the hint, unfortunately I have not seen a Quagga in real life Wink. So I am to be geared by pictures on the Internet and books. There are some images quaggas with white and a little darker tails. And the coat color / pattern varies very strongly as you can see well in the few museum specimens. Perhaps it was also different for some individual animals, such for example at the stripes the zebras too? Who knows?? Neutral

Excellent repaint! Since you are a master painter I need to ask you a question about painting.
How's the best way to repaint a figure that is darker(actually black) to medium brown? Kind of opposite of the
muntjac(brown to blackish).

Is that a custom "Snowflake"(Barcelona's white gorilla(now deceased) - author photo)? It looks like the Papo gorilla repaint?
It really looks terrific!

Yes, it's snowflake from the Barcelona Zoo, unfortunately he is dead and has not a single of the same color family behind. Sad

And yes again, the basic model is the gorilla of Papo. Here is an example where the base color is black and was created by three to four layers of paint, a white coat color.
If you wish, I can show some steps of the repaint soon... arrow question

Yurumi,
O.K., so 3-4 layers of white. Really looks great! Yes, I would really like
to see your painting step photos. As I said I want to make a brown version of the Papo black bear.
Snowflake was an interesting creature. I know he sired babies, but none like him.
