My first Mojo! Empty
PostSubject: My first Mojo!   My first Mojo! EmptyFri Dec 02, 2011 6:30 pm

I had done a really long post with pictures and captions and everything, but then something happened and it all just disappeared. It made me really annoyed! But anyway, I wanted to show off my first Mojo figures cheers I bought them all from Emma and she was also kind enough to send me one of the Mojo catalogues Very Happy

My first Mojo figure was the hunting wolf. I love her! After having seen her I, of course, had to get the other one as well and even though she is a bit plain next to her hunting sister I still think she is much better than the Schleich wolves (which are the only other wolves I've got).

Next I bought the black panther. I know almost nothing about big cats, but I like this one. I love his pose and there is something about him that makes hom alive. I can easily picture him moving soundlessly through the jungle, looking for his next prey.

I really like the zebra stallion, but I'm not so sure about the foal. To me it almost looks like a miniature adult rather than a foal. I hope they bring out a mare next year to complete the family. Or maybe even two mares! Very Happy

Unfortunately I couldn't get the male lion at the time, but I'm hoping he will join my collection soon. I like the female and the cubs are cute, but I'm not overly keen on them. The female on her own looks really nice, though.

And last, but certainly not least: the black-faced sheep! I LOVE THEM. Ever since I saw Susanne's photos of them I've wanted them and have been waiting (im)patiently for them to come my way. After having bought the other figures and there still was no sign of the sheep I sent a desperate e-mail to Emma and SHE HAD THEM cheers She was even kind enough to do me a deal on them and now they've finally joined my small, but growing, collection. I had really high epectations on these sheep and they have lived up to each and every one of them. The ram is stunning, he is absolutely perfect and I even love the lambs (I'm not normally that fussed about baby animal models and only buy them if I really have to). I have a feeling more of these black-faced sheep will be on their way soon, so I can start building up my own little herd... Is it possible to have a herd made up of just rams or would they end up killing each other in their efforts to get the attention of my only ewe? Rolling Eyes scratch Razz

Congratulations! flower It is always exciting to know a new brand and see how we feel them in our hands! Mainly when it is a brand with such nice figures as your wolves, sheep etc. cheers
I don't know what happened with your long post but I'm enjoying a lot seeing your pictures. It is also nice to have a catalogue of the first year of a brand, the best way to start! :)
I hope honestly that your rams start fighting for such a beautiful ewe! Very Happy

Congrats on your beautiful new animals! you've been bitten by the Mojo Bug. i believe Mojo-istis is incurable!

Now you need to get the white sheep family - i like the white ram even better than the black faced!

it's possible, but it takes careful management. you have to keep the boys all very very close together and the Ewe far away. it also helps to put a Tyrannosaurus between the rams and the Ewe.

Both of you: thank you for your comments Very Happy

I have had my eyes on the white sheep and they are next on my list!

Unfortunately I don't collect dinosaurs, but I suppose I could make one exception. Anything to protect my beatuiful ewe! Or is it the rams that will need protecting? Rolling Eyes

i actually went out today with a bunch of new sheep to take photos and learned a very important thing about photographing sheep on a Saturday: it works much better if you charge the camera on Friday! Laughing
tomorrow i try again!

Congratulations! I love these sheep too cheers cheers
Around where I live, usually during the winter, the farmers hire out the fields to sheep farmers. Sometimes they put two rams in with thirty or more ewes and other times they are all rams but only a few in the field. I've never seen all rams and one ewe. study

Good news cheers It sounds as if I can get at least a few more rams without causing any major problems Very Happy
