| As i missed the 2 following guys in my collection sice i sold my former Schleich collection, they were high on my list.  So i took a hunt on e-bay Germany for one time again, and found these 2 great guys from the marten-family. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The 14229 Schleich Stonemarten from 1997-2002, made in Germany. It is not a pinemarten as many people call him, as the stone marten has a pure white breast patch, and the pinemarten a more yellowwhitish patch... | Great Willy! :) Fortunately Susanne has found the Bullyland marten for me that is exactly the same species as Schleich marten but the little ferret is still missing here! :) Congratulations! |

| Thank you all guys, i am very happy to have them in the collection again! Yeah Rogerio, i still need the Bullyland marten to, i even forgot that they one to. Time for a quick hunt again i guess... |

-Kristie The ferret is a domesticated European polecat, a very close relative of the American polecat that is also known as black footed ferret. :) Martens and ferrets are mustelids but not exactly the same animal. And as Willy said it is a Martes foina, one of several marten species! :) |
