As far as I know, Ana made one for Torben, but it was before I joined the forum.
Then she worked out how to make a mould, and now she can make more of them, even if I am sure it must be slow and difficult work.
Then she hand paints them, so not two are completely the same, - just like nature Very Happy

As an owner of one of Ana's Takins the only thing I can say is that it is perfectly done, the dimensions and the detail on each of the areas of the body are incredible real. It is a master piece.

This and Ana's Bongo are must have for the real collectors of animal figurines as they are the best I had ever seen.

Hope Ana will keep making this amazing animals for us.

I fully agree !
Only not that Ana will continue making these two, almost like a factory Wink
Hopefully Ana will say: "So! I have made 20 (or 30 or 50), now I will make some new ones Very Happy"
To develop her skills, and for me to get more of her wonderful figueres

But fortunately it is not for me to decide Laughing

Ohh nice. I'm interested by a model (painted) but I must have more money (I have already two orders of 29 figures on MPV. So, my wallet is tired and I want to complete my wishlist of papo figures this month Rolling Eyes).  sunny

Bongo is an option to consider, but I don't think for this year, and I also don't think I would do re edition of the exactly the same figure in this case. I will see. Smile

Great!
I was wondering - does the mold need to be recreated? how many figures can you do using one mold? unlimited or there is a limit?
I would be happy to try creating figures myself - I know it is hard thing to do and it can take ages till you have what you want. But I do want to try.

What do I need in order to be able to do this?
Also, If I want to remodel a figure - cutting and putting it up in a different pose of body shape - what do I need - i have read of epoxy - what kind of epoxy I need and which brand?
I would need to color the figure afterwards, Right? What color to use? where I can get it?
After I'll remodel and be satisfied with results. Can I create a mold out of the figure? what do I need for that?

I do want to try it - maybe I'll be able to create one myself :)
Thanks
