Hi, please can anybody identify the animals on the photo? All are hardplastic in M 1:25-32 except the little elephant. No marking on these figures. The Britains Ltd water buffalo is the only known figure for me.

Thanks, Andreas. I looked to CollectorsQuest and there are very similar figures marked as Hausser Elastolin and Preiser, in more cases from the same mold so I am confused...

Preiser bought the mold when the HAUSSER ELASTOLIN company closed in 1984.

The deers, roedeers, horses, Ibex and wild boar are Hausser Elastolin.

The elephant is a small copy of the BRITAINS african elephant.

The Water buffalo is a BRITAINS Very Happy

Thanks, Kiki, for your explanation. So, the forest animals are Hausser Elastolin, the two brown horses and white horse too, buffalo is Britains Ltd, so the question is the very small copy of Britains African elephant (the standard has catalog No 1310) and the black horse (I can not find this one on CQ)...

BTW: Kiki, do You have the catalog No for the HE wild boar?

Yes, the ibex was on my wishlist very high and it was the main reason to bid that auction. But I thought I bid the Preiser one :)

The Preiser is bigger. This one is the original from the 1970's

Kiki already explained everything i guess...
When your Hausser Elastolin figurines do have a kind of soft touch feeling over them, he is very correct.
They should be in the 54mm/1:32 scale then, although Hausser made some 1:25 scaled figurines in the softer plastic to.
In the last years, hausser produced them in the bigger 70MM/1:25 scale to, but in harder hollwcast plastic, before Preiser bought the moulds.
Those last are in hollowcast hardplastic to.

The horse is probably made in the 1960's by an USA manufacturer, and belonging to cowboy and Indian sets.

No thanks Jaromir!
It is very hard to find horses like that, at least the info about them, brands and so on.
I can only recommend this site:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

You have to click on really every link there, but it is rewarding, i promise you.
Forget al the soldiers and stuff like that, but discovering the old brands that made animal models is very nice! cheers
