PostSubject: tiny tapirs and skunk   Sun Sep 09, 2012 2:36 pm

I hope that you can help me.
I'd really like to know if these animals are of any brand or series.
Especially the Malayan tapir interests me. They're all made of rubber. The other tapir has very cheap china-brand feeling to it (but tapirs are quite uncommon figures, so I decied to ask anyway)

Thank you so much, Álvaro!
I did some googling and found out that the skunk is also included in a package with a horse and other animals. I've seen those deer at flea market and I actually own that tree with the owl. So this solved actually many things : )

Wow is the Malayan tapir really K&M? I would have never guessed!
I didn't know that K&M has made animals in this small size. Do you know more about the older releases, what other animals they have made? Release year?

Thanks for your replies!

Laughing from the packaging, it looks like the horse is too. oh no, it's "magical"- it doesn't need magnets. Laughing

Hehee, that's cute!

Reminds me of the old Littlest Petshop toys (the original ones from the 90s). The animals always had some sort of activities in them, some magnetic....

PostSubject: Wolf from Schleich Authentic ?   Sat Sep 22, 2012 3:08 pm

Today I have got these wolf. I thought he is the wolf from Schleich Authentic.
Please compare it with the picture of Torben's website.
On my photo you can see the wolf with fox and moose from the Authentic series.
My question: My wolf looks like a wolf on Torbens photo. Fox and moose from the Authentic series with "Safari" you see also on the photo, but the wolf is not marking with "Safari", only fox and moose are marking with "Safari". It is a wolf from the Authentic series? scratch scratch scratch

I do not think it is a toob, - but am in no way an expert. Rolling Eyes
The toobs-models that I have are all clearly marked Safari.

At the other side, - the colours look a lot like Safari...but were the old ones not more glossy ? scratch
So my result is : 2 + 1 + 1 + x = ????????? study Laughing Laughing

Anyway, it is a beautyful and interesting wolf. If it is a copy it is a great copy.. cheers

Congratulations with this lovely find !!!! flower

I think that these are ewes. They look like Scottish black faces, which both ewes and rams have horns. The horns on these though are not fully curled like those of a full grown rams. I do not know the brand that they are though.
