mobile phone version? Empty
PostSubject: mobile phone version?   mobile phone version? EmptyThu Feb 09, 2012 7:28 pm

If i am on tour (example holiday), i cut the world wide web via mobile phone. And i can not " log in" in the forum with the mobile phone. I test with any mobile phones (also Black Berry and Samsung Galaxy S II), but no chance.
Can anybody help?

Andreas, I use it in my poor Nokia 6210 and I can access easily the forum. Sometimes I have some script errors but this is normal. I even can performe admin or moderator operations in my mobile. You can use both, the mobile version and the classic.
I don't know why you can't log in. This Nokia uses a Symbian S60 platform that is different from the Android of the Galaxy or a blackberry. Anyway I already tried in IOS from Apple and everything works perfectly.
I don't have any Android phone here to try but maybe someone in the forum has it and can try.
A little note: I configured my phone to not show images or Java to turn the use easier with lower connection. So, when I want to see a picture I have to download it to my phone.
Try also to check in the bottom part of the page if you are really using the mobile version. Some browsers do not redirect it automatically.
You can also visit it as a guest and you don't have to log in.
Could you also tell me how do you visit it? Googling or writing the address of the forum?

After some reading I figured that the mobile version is still in Beta version and you only can use it as a guest. So no log in or posting. Anyway you can change it in your phone using the classic version. That's the last link when using your phone.
In classic version you can performe everything as you do in your pc.
Let me know! :)

I'm glad you can already use the forum in your new mobile. There are many reasons that can disallow you using the classic version in mobile old phones.
