I think it would be as You said if all animals are big like schleich models. But as we could see Anna has a lot of tiny Chinese models too so there could be even 200 figures in one box I suppose. Am I right Anna?

accualy, one of the boxes (the one with hong kong farmlife) contains over 700 animals. I have two sizes of boxes, one a little smaler, and one bigger.

I have my animals in 30 boxes, 4 vitrines and on some shelves too. They take up pretty much space, as you can imagine

Oh, I can see that the best spot - on top of the TV-set - is given to Papo figures.

Hmm, hard to say wich is my favourites. But I realy like them, and I didnt have any room for them in my vitrines, so I put them on the tv instead

Overall I think I like schleich best, because nearly all of them look pretty good. But I think papo makes better wild cats, while their horses and farm animals arent that good (especially the horses, dont like them at all)
I think in many ways, safari is one of the best, love their horses and wings of the world (and many more) but some of their animals look a little weird (like some of their wild cats)
Kaiyodo is realy cool, but they are pretty hard to find... etc etc

I guess al brands have their positiv and negativ. Just have to be thankfull that there are so many brands, you can pick the best of each one

Great collection you have! 5500 figurines is really a lot. I can see a lot of old china/Hong Kong made toys. That draw some memory back When I was only a child. Thanks for sharing!! Hope to see more

Every time I see boxes full of animals, I get really greedy XD
I have that problem mostly on flea markets and on qweensday (kingsday now).
