PostSubject: Arrakai's Bullyland figures   Sun Aug 15, 2010 10:35 pm

Finaly I have some time to post some more pics of my collection.

Thought I would continue with Bullyland.
In my opinion, bullyland seems more "childish" then schleich, safari and papo. I think they are a little "shubby" and not so detailed as the others (I dont know about the new bully, since I only have a little older)
But I still like them alot, maybe because thats the toyanimals I played with when I was little.

Here are some pics;

I believe the little ponies are one of the most common of the bullyland´s (st least here)
I think I have about 10-15 of those

(sorry for the fuzzy pic)

The chimp-baby is my favourite bully so far. So cuddly  I love you

closeup on my little chimp  Very Happy

That´s all of them (for now)

Congratulation Arrakai for these "not so " old stuff Wink

Some Bully are more childish, it's true, but IMHO there is also some great models and, sometimes, fine gems among them.

Ye, I know they are not that old, but I consider them old, because many of them existed when I was about ten, and that a loooong time ago Razz

I can agree with you that there are some gems amongst them. I´ve seen a model of a snow leopard, and that is definetly on my wish-list Very Happy

Great collection of Bully's Anna, i have a lot of them too.
They have some childish models, more like the Schleich classics, and more realistic models, sometimes they surpise me in a positive way.

Here are just some examples of more great models from different Bullyland series.

This is an even bigger bull, in the same colours...

This great Dane is one of my favourites in the dog series.

I love this bottlenose dolphin too.

Or these European freshwater-fish...

European Pike

Brown Trout

Eel

The modern horse-series are not worser then the Schleichs IMHO, i love this pinto.

Or these 3 pre-historic guys...

Australopethicus

Dryopethicus

Homo habilis

The Persian cat from the cat-series

Wildlife

The Andes flamingo from the "DeLuxe" series

The wildebeast or blue gnu

A nice big lioness

Or leopard

And the calf to the topi or tsassabee of course

One of my Bully favourites, the green iguana, much better then the Schleich model!

And the almost real sized canary

The last for this time is the nice fire-salamander

Hi Friends,

Bullyland has made some few spectacular figures, some others are very bad. Find out for yourself what is worthy to collect.

I know that there are at least two more European fresh-water fish, from Torbens site...
A carp and a salmon...

Yes, Bully has its contradictions, but it is a brand that is worth to collect, as they have many nice models, and cheap to get, even on e-bay... Cool
How many did i win for just 1 euro a piece! Very Happy

Nice bugs :) I have several of these but not the mosquito. Mosquitos are, for some reason, rather rare among toy insects.

Thanks for the picture Torben, that makes searching for them a lot easier! Very Happy
Which gives me an idea...
We can make a new part on the forum, where we put our scanned catalogues, so everybody around here, can see into the catalogues what was made and there in that particular year, and what they are still missing.
I already have many catalogues scanned, specially Britains.
For every catalogue we would need a new tread then, or otherwise it would be to mixed up, and un-clear.

Mine, too.
I have only seen them in a shop once here in Denmark, - is was a ahop selling bicycles, they had a few dogs Neutral

Anyway, I like the retired ones very much. The new ones are vey fine, but the old ones have more charm, in my opinion, they are different from other brands and easy to spot as bully :)

The kangaroo is from the medium-series in think, model 63381, the cat from the retired farm-series.
It was one of my first Bullyland figurines anyway i think.

PostSubject: A lot of new bully´s   Thu Dec 09, 2010 7:43 pm

This month I found a whole bunch of new bullyland animals. Many of them came with the big package.

I realy like most of them, But i realised something I havent noticed befor. They feel much lighter than schleich and the other brands. many of them weigh almost nothing Suspect

Well, heres the pics;

Forestlife
The doe is the only one I´m realy happy about. the rest of them look a little weird. Like the beaver, he´s teeth are red! Suspect

Farmlife

Pets It seems like they think a little like schleich. The german sheppard looks pretty new, and it´s much smaler than the rea of the dogs

A realy big elephant

Here he is with the schleich, for size comp.

Wildlife I realy like the raven and the snowleopard. And the lizard looks cool Very Happy

Sealife - and a snail I was a little disapointed when I got the whales, I thought they would be a lot bigger. But they are tiny No

Thats al of them Very Happy
