PostSubject: My Bullyland   Sun Aug 15, 2010 10:35 pm

Finaly I have some time to post some more pics of my collection.

Thought I would continue with Bullyland.
In my opinion, bullyland seems more "childish" then schleich, safari and papo. I think they are a little "shubby" and not so detailed as the others (I dont know about the new bully, since I only have a little older)
But I still like them alot, maybe because thats the toyanimals I played with when I was little.

Here are some pics;

I believe the little ponies are one of the most common of the bullyland´s (st least here)
I think I have about 10-15 of those

Congratulation Arrakai for these "not so " old stuff Wink

Some Bully are more childish, it's true, but IMHO there is also some great models and, sometimes, fine gems among them.

Ye, I know they are not that old, but I consider them old, because many of them existed when I was about ten, and that a loooong time ago Razz

I can agree with you that there are some gems amongst them. I´ve seen a model of a snow leopard, and that is definetly on my wish-list Very Happy

Chris - Some of the great collection you have which is so difficult to get now. For example the wolverine & alpaca.

Great collection of Bully's Anna, i have a lot of them too.
They have some childish models, more like the Schleich classics, and more realistic models, sometimes they surpise me in a positive way.

Here are just some examples of more great models from different Bullyland series.

This is an even bigger bull, in the same colours...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

This great Dane is one of my favourites in the dog series.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I love this bottlenose dolphin too.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Or these European freshwater-fish...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
European Pike

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Brown Trout

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Eel

The modern horse-series are not worser then the Schleichs IMHO, i love this pinto.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Or these 3 pre-historic guys...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Australopethicus

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Dryopethicus

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Homo habilis

The Persian cat from the cat-series
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Wildlife
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The Andes flamingo from the "DeLuxe" series

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The wildebeast or blue gnu

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
A nice big lioness

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Or leopard

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
And the calf to the topi or tsassabee of course

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
One of my Bully favourites, the green iguana, much better then the Schleich model!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
And the almost real sized canary

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The last for this time is the nice fire-salamander

Hi Friends,

Bullyland has made some few spectacular figures, some others are very bad. Find out for yourself what is worthy to collect.

I know that there are at least two more European fresh-water fish, from Torbens site...
A carp and a salmon...

Yes, Bully has its contradictions, but it is a brand that is worth to collect, as they have many nice models, and cheap to get, even on e-bay... Cool
How many did i win for just 1 euro a piece! Very Happy

Nice bugs :) I have several of these but not the mosquito. Mosquitos are, for some reason, rather rare among toy insects.

Thanks for the picture Torben, that makes searching for them a lot easier! Very Happy
Which gives me an idea...
We can make a new part on the forum, where we put our scanned catalogues, so everybody around here, can see into the catalogues what was made and there in that particular year, and what they are still missing.
I already have many catalogues scanned, specially Britains.
For every catalogue we would need a new tread then, or otherwise it would be to mixed up, and un-clear.
