| The snake looks realy cool, but I think it´s a bit annoying with the sharp lines al over the place. It dont seem to be as visible on the snake, maybe thats why I like it.
The baby crocs are also realy nice |

| Great finds Torben! Sometimes i like those so called "unknown" animals more then the known ones, because they have so many surprises for us. I like the reptiles and amphibians very much, Christophe gave me the fever for them too... I have a katta or ring-tailed lemur which is made in China too, and is exactly the same model as your vari, just differntly painted, i have it in 2 scales like you. It was sold in a set with mother and 4 youngsters.(but i have only one left now...) I bought it in the Apenheul Monkee and Ape-Park in Apeldoorn around here. I forget to save the packaging, so i can't see which maker it was anymore... But here are some pics of them: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Does the aquisition of the Britains hippo-baby mean that you want to collect them too, otherwise i do have some of them for you here... I have the standing gorilla, the baboon, the oldest walking tiger, and the old sitting tiger, and if i knew you wanted them, i had 2 of those hippo-babies too... And i do have 2 rare Timpo toys items too, the male lion and the black rhino... Just let me know my friend... A few years ago i found some of those 4-D figurines too in a cheap-price clothing shop too here in Holland, which does sell some other stuff too. They are not even bad, when you forget about those puzzle-lines they have... Here are some examples of them: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Cheetah [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Giraffe [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Lion [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hippo [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Snowleopard [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Tiger [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Zebra [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]As you can see there are some quit good models under them, like the cheetah, snowleopard and zebra. For the dino hatching i have an idea too, it could be Tom Major, made in China, when it is marked as TM in a circle... I came to that idea as i have this model from Tom Tailor... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Stegosaurus-baby hatching I think those human figurines from ELC are from Knight series, as they resamble the time for them... I like the Hyena and Malaysian Tapir made in China, i have a feeling i saw them before somewhere, but i can't remember right now...

Torben Yep, that's the seller. I was going to bid on the African dog too but the seams put me off. She is a great seller, I think I've bought about 50 models off her so far |

| Congrats on these new models Torben! You know we spoke about them... I like the African hunting dog, the model is ok, the painting is not accurate, but that doesn't matter soo much in these models. The double hornbill is really great, i believe it was a key-hanger originally, isn't it? Great stuff anyway! |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Stegosaurus-baby hatching The little TM in a circle is a mark of brand Toy Major: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]They have produced (don't now if they still exist) many wonderful rubber/plastic animals. I have allmost all of those Toymajor dogs and I think they are the most realistic of all series. They are even better than Schleich dogs |
