| Wow I wish I knew earlier about this thread Nice Wolf collections everyone, this topic is soooo niiice!!!! It's always nice to see some people have a similar collection interests to each other and yeah topics like this one are a good idea, so here by I thank it's creator too! Here a copy from my main collection thread for my non dinosaurs, I don't want to makea complete copy, the photo's I made are very good, so making new ones also seemed a bit senseless to me hehe. Anyways, here some new pics I made of the 5 Wolfies I have at the moment xDDDD [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]From left to right: 2012 Safari Ltd. Gray Wolf 2009 Schleich Howling Gray Wolf 2010 Mojo Fun Prowling Timber Wolf 1990 Safari Ltd. Howling Wolf: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]So far I am done for January, well January 25th do expect more hehe, Hansa has made some lovely Plush Wolves and they seem to have quite a wide range of Wolf sorts to choose from. Anyways I will keep this thread updated too then :) Since this is a wolf collection based topic I also am seeking an accurate model of a Canis Dirus which is also known as the Dire Wolf, they lived 1.8 Milion to 10.000 years ago and yes they were real animals even also used in many mythical stories like Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering and even in Bioware's Dragon Age series. Here some nice info about the Canis Dirus: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Here a comparison of a Common Gray Wolf and a Dire Wolf: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Left = Common Gray Wolf Right = Dire Wolf As you can see the Dire Wolf is slightly larger and is more robustly built, it's snout is also pointed in a more horizontal pose than that of the Common Gray Wolf and like all other modern day wolves, which is sloped downwards a bit more. If any of you can help me find a good Dire Wolf Plush or toy or model, that would be of great honor |

I like your Mononokehime statue btw. :) The wolf has the words Marvel, X-Men the movie 2003 on him, I'm assuming that there must have been a character with a wolf in that film, I've never seen it. The wolf came from a yard sale with no other figures so I have no idea what set he actually belongs to. He can move his legs and open and close his mouth a little. Glad that you (and everyone else) like the Mononoke statue, its probably one of the best wolf figures I've seen in terms of detail. |

| There is a Marvel Select Wolverine: the origin figure. There's Logan (Wolverine) with 3 wolves in the package. My guess is that this wolf was part of it. |

| Here are my wolves! :) I have another from a GI Joe set that is nice too but I cant find him. But hes smaller, not too small and grey, growling and his neck can move. The 2 howling ones I repainted a few years ago and gave them too my brother so they are not that good painted (they used to be worse original). But I like them still :) My brother was cleaning his room and found them under his bed,so if hes going to treat them like that I took them back haha. Also thanks to Bloodrayne too for giving the details!<3 No wonder I haven't seen this figure before, I don't know much about action figures. Anyway, it's a cool wolf! _________________ Krista || zombiebambiraptor.blogspot.com
