Hi, Nightlioness. Wrote an article about the blue moon for CNN Philippines and our local meteorologist explains: The phrase has nothing to do with the actual color of the moon but rather as the second full moon in a calendar month.

Although the expression indicates a rare event, hehe.

That's a very cool wolf with an unusual pose. It worked very nicely in your blue moon picture. What brand is it? It is not usual to see wolf figures with tail up. The only other I know is the Wild Republic Dingo!
By the way, how is your wolves collection going? It seems much larger than the last time you presented it to us.

36! Fantastic! Yes, wolves raise their tails when they're excited, they use it paralel to the ground when in tension and they often also raise their tails to show dominance. Thanks for telling the brand, that's a good pose for an action figure.

An updated photo of my wolf collection...which is now displayed in a small bookcase I assembled this morning. I've got so many wolves though that they're half taking over my wild feline shelf too (which is still a work in progress). Lol. Will be posting individual photos soon.
