| You have very unique collection Koniminiatures and great. Is it onager or kiang scratching his ear on the upper shelf? Looks lovely! Cut parts are quite painful too look at, especially when the horse is missing whole nose I always suffer when I have to cut models during customisation, do you have the same kinds of feelings too? _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| Thank you both kindly! That's an onager, Ana, customised from a Tibbi Searcher resin called Dome Scratcher. He's the only finished model in there, but such old work he should be stripped and repainted anyways. Here's a better picture of him: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] - Ana wrote:

I haven't the kindness of heart to suffer when I destroy them, no - I'm more inclined to gloat. The more expensive the model and the more senseless its destruction, the more (tragi)comical I tend to find it. - Cyhyraeth wrote:

Oh, I can't wait to see them done either.. Some have spent years in their hacked-apart state, and I really should get around to finishing them already. Alas, I'm better at sawing off faces and legs than I am at painting finishing touches on them. Plus, commissioned work must take precedence over my own little projects, and the pictures here only show the latter kind. |

Thanks! I prefer to take photos in shadows / cloudy day / early in the morning. The sharp sunlight doesn't look so nice, in my opinion. _________________ Katja

| They are gorgeous !!!! I love them all three It is interesting that in Denmark the Belgian Drafts are (almost) always bay or bay roan, - never chestnuts - while the Jutlands are chestnut Actually the re-bred Clydesdale could look like a Jutland heavy horse, with the elegant neck and head Amazing what anew colour means, isn't it ????? |
