All very beautiful horses and very well presented, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Amazing to see how Safari and CollectA's Friesians are differently sculpted and your video enforces my idea that the Safari figure looks as made to put in the center of a town square. All your horses have wonderful tails and that Morgan is incredible!

Such a lovely horse, there are so many lovely models of this species on this topic, and you own so many unusual horses I have never seen before!

Love this thread! So many horse models I have never seen, despite horses being pretty much all I collected for most of my life. Most of what I have doesn't add much new to this thread, but here are some horses I am currently very excited about. I finished the first two series of Funrise horses, some of which I had as a kid. I love this entire series, but I am still working on the later sets. These are much easier to come by, which meant I could very quickly fulfill childhood dreams.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] These have names. I don't usually have names picked out for my models, but for some reason, these all needed one. Some are names I gave them as a kid. The rest are names I gave them in the same spirit of how I named things then.
Claude is one of my favorites of the set [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And Egg is the one I have had the longest (this is not the original Egg. Egg the First had only three legs when she vanished into the void) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Soap is another I've had several incarnations of over the years, an old friend [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I also absolutely love Duncan and his happy little trot [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
In general they are a bit goofy looking and painted a bit weirdly, but I think that's part of their endearing nature.

In which place of this world we read stories about Eggs with three legs? This is surely a very magical place. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], I think the two first series are the most representative of the genuine Funrise spirit even if we found they are produced by another company. That's the Funrise blood. I hope you can complete the latter series too.

You're surely on the perfect forum. You can try to find them at the Toy Animal Wiki or just put the pictures [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and we try to help you.

Alright, this is a follow-up post to the last one, I guess! I have now finished all four sets of Funrise International Show Horses, one of the first things I started collecting when I got back into the hobby more seriously. They have a strong nostalgic pull, as I did have a lot of the 1988 set as a child, but I also think they are unique in their own right because of the representation of rare or unusual breeds. Now, these breeds are not always represented terribly accurately, to be sure . . . sometimes they are painted in colors the breed does not appear. However, what I like is that the sculpture artists I think did try to capture something of each breed in the sculpts - even if they were not really equine artists especially (that is kind of the feeling I get from later sets, that the artists didn't have a lot of practice with horses, but they were still serious about making unique and interesting sculpts).
The 1991 set (my favorite set) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
My favorites from that set: Basque (or Pottok) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
