PostSubject: My Last newcomers in Februari 2012...   Wed Apr 04, 2012 3:52 am

I am to busy, or just lazy sometimes this month, to work on the forum, i am sorry for that.
To keep the work limited, i will put all of the new stuff that came in the last weeks for my collection in the last weeks of februari 2012, which i didn't show yet, here in one tread, to make things less complicated.
Most is from trades from some of you guys, not much that i was able to buy new with not to much money available for that... Laughing
Here is everything(i hope i didn't forget to much...) Shocked

The next 2 items i forgot to show, as they came with the large AH WWF figurines as a present, they made in polystone.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Dalmation pups

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Herring Gulls

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I had this lot in from Sandspielfiguren, alreadt almost a month ago...

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
18053 Marolin Mammoth

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Finally i was able to add this wonderfull model to my collection, the 50118 Papo Bengal tigres with cub

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
And the 50102 Papo Spotted Hyena to.

From Safari Ltd i had the next items:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Bottlenose dolphin from the Monterey Bay collection, but i can't find this model in the catalogues, so i miss the productionnumber, anybody?

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
227229 Safari Ltd Coyote

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
227129 Safari Ltd Coyotepup

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
291829 Safari Ltd Puma, for me by far the best in business, even better then the Papo model with the small head, which comes second after this one...

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Safari Ltd Blue Parrotfish(Scarus coeruleus) from the 699104 Corallfishtoob

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
From the same toob, the Flame Angelfish(Centropyge loriculus)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Not from a toob, but from Safari Ltd anyway, the Queen Triggerfish(Balistes vetula)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
A cheap China, but nice Leafy Seadragon(Phyllopteryx taenoilatus)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
67854 Bullyland Bicolor Angelfish(Centropyge bicolor)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
67031 Bullyland Humpbackwhale, which i had already, but this was a present from Lisa, and a colourvariation

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Here are both of them

More to follow...

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Yowie 81 Manatee

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Starlux 703 Giraffes from the 1953 series.
Christophe did send me 5 of them, but the other 3 ended up as jigsaw puzzles through the mail... Shocked

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Small Torero, is it Starlux to Christophe? question Rolling Eyes

The next items are from the 1950's Auburn company, that made cartyres in the first place, and made eventually toymodels to in the same vinyl material!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Auburn Grey Squirrel in brown

Auburn Hares, the white one is new for me.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Auburn Raccoons, the brown one is here new for me.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Auburn Whitetail Deer does, both new for me.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
K&M Austrich

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Hong Kong brand Rae, never heard of it before, i think it is a Common toad.

And finally some models from Prior Hong kong from the 1970's...

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Prior Californian Sealion, which is a copy of the vintage Britains model.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Here they are together, in the back 2 Britains, the third is another Hong Kong model, the one in the front is the Prior model, also from Hong Kong.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Prior Malayan Tapir, also a Britains copy.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
In the back the original Britains model, in the middle another Hong kong model, in the front the Prior model.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Prior Giant Armadillo, for sure not a Britains copy.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Here with another Hong Kong model.

Hi Willy, I'm really sorry to heard about the STARLUX giraffes Sad They were a Circus set with the small MrLoyal (and not Torero... Wink )

The RAE common toad was made for PRIOR, I guess it wasn't the only one.

About the pangolin, aardvark and armadillo, I still think the originals are PRIOR Laughing

Lots of nice additions for you Willy. Some great ones there.
Your Auburn deer has lost part of his antlers. I have a China bird I am holding for you, I will add a deer buck for you. I know I have the yellow one from my trade list shown here. I may have an extra in the brown or white too if you prefer the more 'natural' colors.

Thanks Daria, the mammoth was made by VEB Plaho first, and shortly after that by Marolin, which was the original company in the first place anyway...confusing?... scratch

That the copies are part of the history of this world I agree completly! :)
If I was a hard collector of a brand I would surely not only collect the originals, variations and special editions, as well the copies! They are a part of the story of the copied brand. :)
But that when a brand copy other brand should keep what is wrong I'm not sure I agree! Laughing Laughing Anyway I understand! If Britains had done a camel with 3 humps I'm sure that a copy would be not a copy if the copying brand has done it with 2 humps! farao
