Peggy the Dog Empty
PostSubject: Peggy the Dog   Peggy the Dog EmptyWed Aug 25, 2010 10:00 am

This is a model I made for my Grandmother, who used to have a little dog like this in 1946, or around then. So here she is, her name was Peggy. She is a cross with a Wire Fox terrier and something else we think.

I have two versions (not models just pictures) of this dog, as I had to change the painting on the face because my Grandmother didn't think she looked quite like her. But here is what Peggy looked like before I changed the colours on the face...

I know it didn't look like her dog, but I prefer this painting finish to the other one.

She is so cute. And the face lookes realy alive (I mean, the whole dog does, but you know what I mean)... Damn It´s hard to express yourself in english Mad

After trying to make some models of my own, my admiration for you guys, who can make such wonderful models, has gone thru the roof.

I mean, It´s HARD, nearly impossible to make even desent looking animals. At least with the clay I´m using (Ye sure, blame it on that Laughing )
I realy cant understand how you do it.

Well it´s late, I´m babbling, sorry for that Embarassed What I was trying to say in my bad english was;

Realy good, and very cute model. Love to see more cheers

Thank you Ralf, dogs aren't what I like doing best either, but I made an exception for my grandparent. Wink
