Schleich 1999 Dealers Catalogue

Great catalogue, it is one i am missing too...

Compared to the quality and ''imagination'' of the newer Schleich figurines,I can say:
Happy days back then!
Those figurines are simply stunning,many rare species,good quality,and all new with tags!
I wish I lived in Germany in that period!At 4 years old,you could only find Chinasaurs in Romania!

Well, of course those older Schleichs were more toyish and playfull, but ok...
Every period has its good things...

I lived in Germany in the 1970's, and had never heard of Schleich since the late 1990's, but to my surprise i had a lot of the Classics and mini's in my possesion, which i bought in the 1970's over there, without knowing they were Schleich at all...

Schleich offered a very nice and wide animal range back in 1999.
And hey, it was 11 years ago, but I see some familiar faces in the catalog! Hello there, Asian elephant and hippo! isn't it the time for you to retire?
That little blond girl at the photos must be about 20 years old now, and she can still find these two figures of her chldhood in a store! And who says that it's bad, anyway??

Thanks for this Steve, I enjoyed looking at this one, loads of retired animals that I would like!

Some of those models need some replacement indeed, but for that there are some great models that we could use today too...

The cows, the pigs...I do like the older figures. Thanks for sharing.
Now, did you take photos of each page and then post?

Hello, dear collectors, somebody can be so nice and scan the catalogues again and again high-level store. It would be very nice very much from you. Have though Gascher \'s, however, the feeling of the old catalogues, nevertheless, is whole something else.

Where is the brown pelican?

Golden times of schleich I think. The cats and dogs lines and the artists horses line AND the birds of prey collection Why they don't continue this direction now?

These were the golden days of Schleich... its too bad that era ended. Now we have to hope they return to it.
