hi all. I hope this is the appropriate topic for this kind of post. (if not, please feel free to send to a PM; I take no offense to friendly efforts to help me learn good forum-manners.)

I saw this on ebay and since it was, for me, the holy grail of retired Schleich animals, I wanted to share. (Mind you, I haven't received mine yet. I bought one from the same seller and it is--knock on wood--on its way.)

thanks everybody. I'm looking forward to its arrival. I'd never used eBay before this month (well almost never), and now I'm trying to check myself before I'm too poor to pay rent. In the last two weeks I've made some wonderful purchases: the armadillo, hyena, anteater, and angus bull, all by schleich. I adore them.

Now I just need that European Bison....

I forgot to add that there are two variants, easily distinguished from each other - either the tusks are painted (white), or not.

Definitely! I am visiting a friend and am away from home for several days. When I get back, I'm taking pictures of my new acquisitions and posting them here...assuming my pig is waiting for me.
