Thanks. I just love seeing peoples collections grow. I loved showing mine as it grew and grew and getting compliments. It gives you the encouragement to keep collecting. My daughter loves my collection, but my husband could care less. It is nice to have someone to show your collection to and have compliments on it.

But remember, I have only been a member of this group for a few days..

I don`know of a bidding battle, - as far as I know, we are anonymous ?

Or are they all called that ?

I've never had a model with this kind of tag on. Is it like a little book, or just a piece of paper? If it had information about the model in it maybe you could call it a leaflet or booklet? But otherwise I would just call it a tag.

I think two of them you could say they were booklets, label or card perhaps. But as for the other one looks like tag to me, with as you said, warnings on it.

Hello fellow Schleich collectors!

My name is Nova and I reside in Canada. I've been actively collecting Schleich since December.

This group of animals was found at a gift shop a couple of weeks ago- they were thrown into plastic bins with other brands. I took these pics as soon as we got back to the cabin- was on holidays with my coworkers.

Thanks for looking!
Very Happy

...Hi, Nova! Wink Your collection is likeable! You have some models which I,m have,nt (generally its brand AAA). Wink

Congratulations on even more great new additions Nova!
They look great, and a surprise like on your penguin isn't bad at all, more brands to collect, so even less room to display them, haha. Cool Laughing Rolling Eyes Wink scratch cheers

By the way, there is not such a thing under experienced collectors as beeing "unknown" on e-bay, haha.
Some of us now eachother and other great collectos very well, as you can follow their history in buying and so on...
And i don't hope, that you and your friend are the ones, that bring up the prices for retired Schleichs up far to high... Laughing Rolling Eyes Embarassed
For example, just to look at the retired dark beagle, which brought far over 500 euro's last time, as it should cost about 250 euro maximum, that is expensive enough!
Tell me please that you guys weren't those persons... affraid

No Willy, that was definitely not me- and never will be. I love Schleich and although there are many rare pieces I want to add to my collection I will never spend $500 on a beagle. :)

Well, i know who it was right now as this person did send me a PM, and i am happy that these rare items are in our extended collectors-family right now...
And i am happy for the person itself too of course! cheers
I was only worried about those high prices, that older and rarer retired Schleich items do fetch these days...
That is not good for us all... Laughing Rolling Eyes

Nice additions!

It looks like the Morgan stallion on the picture. You can look at the information between it's legs, there is the year it's produced to be really shure.
