The material for the birds is little softer as Schleich, the base hardplastic.

Great collection, especially the birds! You have a lot of very interesting smaller species and I'm really glad you were able to find some rare play visions animals.

The end of last year was very expensive, cause next to Andreas birds, I also bought some newer and older animals from the greater companies - all found on spielzeug-günstig.de

A question for the schleich gerbil: on TAI is marked, that there are 2 gerbiles and a plant in the package. However on the internet and finally in my box, there is only one smaller figurine.

Those are fantastic additions! The previous set was available with two gerbils as you can see [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Now, there is a different set with a single gerbil.

Thanks for the question, too. So I was a little bit late. But it is a shame, that they took one of the gerbils out. My problem is, that the gerbil left doesn´t look really like a gerbil. The other figure was more lookalike. This one remind me of a ground squirrel

Haha Yes that´s true :) pipsxlch searched them also for her one collection, so there was a lot of chocolate to eat :) But I whish, companies as ferrero would also produce such beautiful and rare animal figurines for their choco eggs on the european market :)

And than new birds. Not quiet what I expected are those birds too large and from a very soft rubber material. I was "surprised" when I opened my parcel, cause I expected something more usual thatfits better in my collection. Nevertheless: they are now part of my collection as I got new animals that were on my wishlist or are never released by any other brand before. Perhaps, I find someday those raptors also as K&M or Playvisions.

The birds are from DeAgostino, a publishing companie. The material is soft rubber and they are very large. Andreas posted a comparison photo in this thread: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
