CHAP MEI meerkat ?

I got this wonderful little meerkat from Emilia/Deseo, and would now like to know the brand. It has no writing on it, and it's a tiny bit taller than the standing meerkat from Schleich. Emilia thought it might be by Lanard or Chap Mei, but she wasn't sure. I'm sure one of you experts on this forum can tell not just the brand but maybe even something more about it? Thank you Emilia for this little beauty!

The painting looks very much like PV or K&M...but it is larger

Never mind what brand...it is a WONDERFUL model

Noora, did you check it for VERY small marking ? Chap Mei often has the logo with microscopic writing

He is from the Animal Planet Meerkat Manor Play Set. I got it last year. The meerkats are darker brown but same size as Schleich. The product contains about 3 meerkats, a meerkat burrow house made of sand, and a man with a tripod camera who is taking photos.

I double-checked, and I can't see any markings. So it's either totally microscopic or I need glasses I'd still vote for it not having any markings.

I purchased mine at Toys R Us last year but I do not see it anymore there.

Yep, seems to be sold out everywhere. There's one set on ebay for 120 USD
Seems like I just have to wait for them to find me instead of trying to find them.

Wow 120 US dollars--that is crazy expensive--let me look more in my area.

I'm going to assume the company is Animal Planet/Discovery, that's all I can find written on the box. The figures, including the mound, are all unmarked! They used to be $10 at Toys R Us, I see the meerkats sold loose every now and then on ebay.
