Yes, first picture are the militants of François Éland while in the second picture I can see the militants of Saint Nicolas and his reindeers!

If Christophe was adding his two cents, then I'm adding my single wooden penny. Nothing here is new, but in the spirit of sharing, here is my very limited moose and reindeer collection.

I can't help noting that the moose family is one of my very favorite from Schleich's Mom-Dad-Baby groups. I was thrilled when they released the Moose cow and calf.

I obtained this wonderful Bullyland figure from Harriet in my first trade ever. I am so grateful to her for making the experience so amazingly friendly and pleasant, and of course for sending me such fantastic model.

And I have to throw in another picture of the Safari Reindeer because it is also quite wonderful (as others have already noted). (I like the Schleich okay, but there are so many other Reindeer I've seen on this thread that I like so much more -- the Nayab and Elastolin for example! Wow...) The Safari:

This moose is one of my top two Lineol figurines on my wish list, the other is the gorgeous Wisent

The Lineol moose is very interesting and in a typical Lineol pose. Much more interesting than the modern toys standing with the head turning towards the camera! :) Also interesting that they, being an European brand, made what looks clearly an American moose. :)
I think the European subspecies are more spectacular. Very delicate indeed, maybe too delicate for a moose, hind quarters are not powerful enough but a superb figure. What can we do to Lineol return to the market? Or a brand buy their licenses and remake them?
