I do not know if they are rare, but they were very hard to find, because they look so much like the chickens from the hens..and same style as the older ducklings Suspect

I noticed that turkey hens are not as numerous as turkey males in the toy market; so, maybe it's not that an insignificant model after all.

Susanne, I'm a little ignorant with birds: Chicks of chickens are chicks; of ducks, ducklins; of swans, cygnets; of eagles, eaglets, of harriers, Harriets, and from turkeys... do you know? study geek Laughing

Thankyou very much flower
You are right, we do not see models of turkey hens very often, - I didn´t think about that cheers

Thanks Susanne! flower Now I'm only a little confuse, if I am crazy why Harriet tooke me so seriously? silent affraid Wink
By the way and again a little off topic, it is interesting to see that in Danish the name of the turkey is related to Calcutta in India, that in several languages its name translates to India chicken and even French chicken! What a Face Curious because Turkey is the name of a country and in Portuguese language it is called Peru, a name of other country! study
See here in Wikipedia! flower

...and in German "Truthahn", which is a very funny word in Danish Laughing

It translates into something like "A rooster that sounds like a trumpet" geek Very Happy

Congrats Susanne!

We have turkey chicks at work, and we have to put them in with the baby chickens on the first day because the chickens teach the turkeys how to eat!

At least that's what I'm told...
