| Many many thanks friends!! I would like to see this animals, who are the lines convert. Not to see across or along the body, so not to see on the first view. . So i think the pheasant are the lines between the body over and under like the colorata birds. And i have dormouse in one piece, that is phantastic. |

But it would help me if I understood better what it is exactly that you want pictures of. If I'm understanding you correctly, you would like pictures that make very plain where the lines are -- the lines created by where the separate pieces of the figure connect. Is that correct? So, for example, with the Copper Pheasant, you'd like to see pictures that are aimed at showing the viewer where all the lines on that figure are. Let me know if I am understanding you correctly. I'll take some pictures and put them up and if they aren't what you were hoping for, please let me know, explain what I did wrong, and I can go back and try again. (This will be an experiment.) Assuming that's okay with you. If not, I understand, no worries. -Scott |

| Andreas, Is this all you are looking for? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Or would you prefer a combination of something like this: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I assume you don't mean that you want pictures of the figures disassembled. (That would be difficult, as it risks breaking the figures.) Let me (or us) know if anything above approximates the type of thing you were hoping to see. |

| Thank you Scott, exactly this. And this pheasant are now added on my wishlist because the lines are under the body an not in front of to see. |

| Andreas, are there other specific figures you want to see? If you have some in mind, and I happen to have them, I can take some more pictures. (Or if someone else has those figures and sees this, maybe they can as well.) |

| Andreas, some of the figures are excellent and one can barely see the lines; with others, the lines are everywhere. I've noticed that the figures from the earlier series tend to have more conspicuous seams. (But that's only a tendency, not a rule.) I've already posted pictures of the Fox in an earlier thread, which I'm pretty sure you've seen [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Here are pictures of the Raccoon and the Least Weasel, both of which have conspicuous seams around the neck. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The seams are the least conspicuous on the turtles I have. They look great. For example, here's a Leaf Turtle and a Box Turtle: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This Banded Snake is also quite good. There are only two joints, which you can see most clearly from the bottom (and from one angle, from the side): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Finally, here is the Reeve's Muntjac, which I love, even the main seam is very obvious across the trunk of the body. Like some figures from many of the later series, the seams fit the contours of the body better, rather than chopping straight lines across parts of the body. Honestly, I think this Muntjac is better than the Noah's Pals Muntjacs (which I also have): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I hope that helps! |

I'm glad I could help Andreas. It's true that the mammals all have conspicuous joins. (Except the Meerkat, I noticed that there, the seams are very hard to see, even though there's one around the neck.) The Armadillo and the Tasmanian Devil are particularly bad in that respect. The turtles are amazing though, and some of the birds. Unfortunately, I don't have many of the birds and so couldn't take pictures of them. When I get more, I try and post pictures of the better ones. - sauroid wrote:

I agree b-zoo! It's one of my favorites. I didn't take very good pictures of it, because I think it looks even better in person. It is really lovely. (The face is so accurate.) Kaiyodo makes a pit viper and I'm looking forward to getting that as well. |
