Schleich 2013 wishes and predictions

What I think we will see:
- walrus/ other north/southpole animal
- quarterhorse mare & foal
- lusitano horse mare & foal
- new clydesdalehorse mare
- more dogs on the new smaller scale, propably well known breeds
- more dinosaurs

What I would like to see:
- a new pony family, fjords maybe?
-different and not so well known horse breeds, american bashkir curly eg.
- more donkeys
- new big cats
- rare species, I would love a serie of Endangered or extincted animals.

I think schleich shoud go back to more natural line.. Kids should learn about DIFFERENT animals and breeds, just like endangered or already extincted animals.. Now I feel thst schleich has started to produce just fluffy and cute, well known animals that will sell and make money. Horses have become stupid mother-father-child -families and the range of breeds have gone just to few "shetlandpony and other well known breeds".

i hope schleich read these comments, maybe to late but lots to think about for 2014

you can send them a letter or an e-mail. I've done the same and they would tink about it. I asked them to make a korthals griffon

wow, one of my friends had sent an email saying if schleich could send them a booklet, they did not reply but after they realised i had about 30 they asked for one of me, did they reply to you?

i also think they should release a new dog stretching as i have never seen this before in schleich

yes, they did reply, but after 3 weeks...

I would love schleich to make the following

- Canada goose!!
- przewalski wild Horse
- Albatross
- More guinea pigs
- Anteater (I believe there was one made a few years ago but can't find it anywhere )

Oh and a bird of paradise would be AMAZING!

I've lowered my expectations as far as getting a really interesting new species goes. Like a lot of others, I'd love to see a new hippo family group. The old ones look very dated. I'd also be very interested in seeing a new puma. I never cared for the retired version enough to shell out the money for one on Ebay. The Papo puma is the only one in my collection, and it appears to be a dwarf.

Last year Schleich explored new territory with the eagle nest/chicks, so perhaps this could be a gateway to making some smaller primate models.

Also, I'm aware that the sable thing is getting beaten to death, but I personally love it. I'd welcome a Schleich version.

I also think a farmhouse would be good but this time with more furniture

I was reading an artical on the Internet that said schleich might release some new dinosaurs as Jurassic park is released in 3d next year! like the smurfs last year

i think they may discontinue the giant turtle family as they are now extinct! heres the info: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , but lukily there are some female ones left so schleich might keep making them

The giant turtle is not extinct, only it's subspecies from Pinta Island (Lonesome George was the last known Pinta Island turtle).
