Thankyou, Roger, I am still trying to take pictures, buuuh, there must be something wrong with...the camera Shocked Laughing Laughing

Here is a scan of the nice tag they have.
I was trying to find the Danish names for them...hmmm, perhaps M&B should find somebody who checks the spelling in the future Wink

lol! lol! lol!
I've learned something with you. So weird that I love it! Laughing
Mullard is very good but red throated driver is more than good drunken drunken
Now I know why everywhere in Portugal we see placards saying: "If you drink don't drive!"
I'll tell them about it. Surely is not the brand that makes the tags but order it to another company.
The same reason why we see some mistakes in Schleich catalogues too. :)
See a mullard in this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Let me tell you that the names in Portuguese are correct and that I appreciate to see the names of the species with the figures. The brands that donnot identify them will never mistake them. :)
Anyway and although the tags are beautiful, I'm glad they are better making figures than tags. :) :)
Thanks for telling and I'm eager to see your water birds! bounce bounce

It is nice to see the brand in so many important online shops and mainly the interest of many members! :)
I hope M&B reacts to the good feedback of this forum and customers and turns their animal lines in an important part of their range. bounce Very Happy

MPV is crouded with lots of known brands. Maybe they think that there is no interest in these kind of lines like Maia & Borges, so I think the best we can do is to show them that we are interested in these figures. Maybe e-mailing them asking for M&B figures. I know the brand will keep developing more animal series, even more exciting that this one, but I suppose it will depend how well accepted is this line. I absolutely love them and although I didn't need the mallard and swan, this was one of the series I wanted complete. Fantastic manufacturing quality, very interesting set of unusual species, lovely figures, very recomendable. In painting they are even a lesson to some of the best known brands. Very Happy

Very Happy

I agree, Roger, that Maia y Borges is a terrific brand. It is much better known, I believe, among collectors of plastic cartoon characters. However, I think M + B is now going to make a big move into the animal figurine market, and I think this makes perfect sense... :)

PostSubject: Does anyone have pictures of their M+B birds?   Mon Nov 17, 2014 12:05 am

I really love those waterfowl, but I'm worried they don't come in my size range. I prefer 2-4 inch plastic animals, so any help would be great. Very Happy The biggest waterfowl I own is the Schliech swan.

Emma, unfortunately comparison pictures that Yvett posted in M&B birds topic got lost. Those figures are not very big although they are larger than toob like figures. They fit nicely with ducks from major brands and none of them is larger than a Schleich swan.
I recomend them without any doubt, their only minus is that they're not cheap at all. :)

Thanks for your input, I hope Yvette's thread is found again. Sad

Do you think it would be around the same size as the Schliech mallard (hen or drake)?

Thanks!

Thanks!

Schleich is smaller as far as I can remember. Please chekc below a size comparison with a S&N kiwi. The S&N bird is around 2 inches tall while duck is around 2-1/4 inches tall and 2-1/2 inches long.

Great, be careful because they love fish. Wink As everything is now clear for you, I'll merge this topic with the main thread about M&B waterfowls. Very Happy

Okay, thank you! Haha lol I've collected birds longer than fish, but not as extensively. I have given up on dragons though... Lol.
