Getting rid of the horses Empty
PostSubject: Getting rid of the horses   Getting rid of the horses EmptySun Jul 22, 2012 7:13 am

Recently, we were given some old Britains plastic horses which had been overpainted in bright colours by enthusiastic children many years ago.

Lesley paints figures in 54mm to 1:72 scale and sells them on eBay, so she repainted four of them in natural colours and partnered them with 54mm Medieval ladies for sale.

Hurrah! They all sold!

Thanks for all your kind comments!

The Britains-sized figures are a little too big for me. I prefer to paint 30mm - 40mm figures. Like these -

They are "Thunderbolt Mountain" metal figures, sculpted by the great Tom Meier.
