Okay, wow. That is just fascinating. I would love to have one of those. Like you, Harriet, I especially like the Fox. It's my favorite.

One interesting thing about looking at her "before and after" photos is how much it makes me cringe to see a Schleich model after the x-acto knife sheering the artist gives it. Boowwaaaaheheheheeurgle. Hideous. Don't misunderstand me, I do like the results a lot. But I would have a very hard time putting a figure to the knife myself even though I know it's totally irrational.

Like Steve, I think a Stag would be great! I'd like to see a camel and a jaguar. Or maybe a furry Rhino! (kidding.)

Oh wait, a hyena! that would be great. A mangy hyena could look fantastic. (I'm serious about this one.)

From what I gather these models or this kind of thing in general are very expensive to buy, I was looking at her eBay listings and they went for $300 or more!

I'd love to have a go at making these, I know what you mean Scott about ruining a Schleich model - however, for me, on some figurines I prefer the fur! Like the fox, he looks so much more realistic now

I've bought some materials to have a go Mihnea, I've chosen one of the animals she's done, as I like it so much and will be perfect for a 1:12 scale general store I'm planning.

she's modified it a little, made it's head turn more to the right, on her site you can see what it looked like before under "Before and After"

What a great link, thanks so much. I don't personally like the "real" fur animals for myself but I can't argue that they are really well done! The fox that to me ended up almost looking alive after the fur was added is my favorite, it reminds me of a coyote and is such a beautiful customization!
