Die Alpenkühe :-)

Some people really have an eye for great models, and once Sue and Lesley mentioned one of the Alp-cows, I began to look closer at them.
And they are wonderful
I wished I had Kristie here, I am sure she could make fabulous photoes, but now you have to make do with mine

I still don`t have the female Alpenkuh-calf, but this little orphan girl is so cute, that Die Alpenkühe immediately adopthed her

The "Senner", Michael, is an Alpen-cowboy, but he doesn`t need a horse. The cows are happy to follow him

The little calf has tried a sip of crystal clear water from the Berg-Brunnen (Mountain well), but she decides she likes milk better.
Her big brother would have winked at us if calves could wink, - he thinks he is much mor clever than his new sister

Peter, the bull, is rather lazy, but he likes to consider himself the master in command

Look, the cow called Lara even has that horrible yellow plastic EU-thing in her ear !
Fortunately it is only in real life that new borne calves have to have them also, due to EU law
On Lare it just adds to the authencity

Not only the best light, the best angle or lens are the only thing that makes a picture look wonderful! See how nicely you displayed your figures and the nice story you are telling. I feel completly jealous not being in Denmark to play a little with you!

Such wonderful photos of such a beautiful family. I love them all. Congratulations on all these wonderful figures.

With help from Kristie, I was fortunate to get the Mom and Dad for the cute calf

TGF had them, and they came here together with a bunch of Mojos from Kristie
As you can see, the bull is the same colour as the "Alpenbull", just grey instead of brown.

They are not in any of my catalogues. I do not have the catalogues from 05 and 06, so they must have been made in one or both of those years

They are so nice, Susanne! I have just look in the catalog from 2004.
There they were offered as "new 2004", but only the both adult cows.
On the picture in the catalog there are also two calfs, but they looked in an other way as the calf on your photos.
But the adult cows are the same:
Alpenstier "Peter" with the number 62611 and Alpenkuh "Fanny" with the number 62612.
Both neu/new 02/04.
Your calf must be coming in later catalogs.
