 cartoonish bear figure made by schleich !!!

I found this figure in an old box and while looking at it I saw this:

I've never seen this figure or symbol/logo in the Schleich range so maybe someone can tell me more about it.

Here is the (whole) figure:

it is also marked "©MGM" and "W.GERMANY"
I hope someone can help me...

MGM probably stands for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
So it is sort of old Merchandize model. Schleich and Bullyland both made a lot of those study

About the logo, perhaps this helps :

It is a scan from "The round book", published by Schleich at their 75 year jubilee

I have no idea about the logo but I think it's a figure of Spike the dog from Tom and Jerry cartoons Wink
