Hi Mastiffcat, thank you for your kind comments. The palomino pinto you spotted is indeed a Peter Stone horse - a Morgan. So you were not too far off the mark with the Kenne-whatzis Laughing
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

And there are more Hartlands - not only the - Embarassed - dusty ones on the shelf, but more in boxes. So many horses and not enough space ...

Susanne - yes, that is a yet unfinished Bully Icey repaint. I slimmed that unproportionate neck down to a more 'horsey' form. Next to it is the also unfinished collecta Arab repaint - what I took off the Bullyland is added on his neck Laughing

You did a fantastic job cheers

AAnd you are so right, - the weakest point of Bullyland horses is that almost square necks Suspect

Hi, yes the two in the top row are Peter Stones - both 'Palouse', but I customized the bay one. It was one of my first tries, to customize something so big :)

Hi, Hannah, the original Palouse was a blanket appy. As I had 2 of them I customized one. Tucked the head in and filled in the bridle path, because we normally don't have them in our horses.

Call me crazy, but I'm sensing a theme... (as if your screen name wasn't a huge enough hint Razz )
Your collection is fantastic, and it's so good to see these lovely old Breyers again (don't get me wrong, I love the new molds - but the Hess pieces are my favorites). I'm especially fond of your Hobo conga line, that mold doesn't get nearly enough respect! cheers

Finally another Prancer fan! cheers It's got to be one of the most underrated molds in Breyer history, and for no reason at all - it's well sculpted and has tons of personality. I guess it's just too old-fashioned for the serious hobbyists... too heavy for parade and too lively for western.
I've often wanted to get one to customize, but trads are just too big for me.

Sherm is just a cutie... He's got a sort of 19th century look to him, stylized without being cartoony. And yes, he's one of the very few trads I own! Very Happy

I've never really liked Sherman, primarily because of his neck (ouch!). But your comment made me thinking of possible custom referenced on 19th century paintings - he would be a great base for such model Very Happy
